Wendy, our Clinical Treatment Advisor

Wendy misses you

This photo of Wendy was taken earlier this year while we were closed, but if you came in during the last couple of months you may have seen Wendy dressed in full PPE, working in Lindsey’s room during her maternity leave. Lindsey is now back, and Wendy is now working part-time as a hygienist in our office, and part-time from home as our Clinical Treatment Advisor.

Please call us at [phone] to make an appointment with Wendy. She will be able to video chat with you from the comfort of your own home, and help you understand your treatment plan options without the pressure of your having to talk with a doctor. You can also call her in case your tween or teen returned to your car after their dental cleaning, and could not explain to you whether or not the dentist identified a problem.

These educational appointments with Wendy are free of charge.

Our YouTube Channel

Wendy has been creating educational videos for our patients, and we’ll be uploading them to our YouTube channel. Parts of her videos are not close captioned, but you can now access transcripts of most YouTube videos! Just click on the three dots to the right of the SAVE button.

Here are Wendy’s first two creations:

Maintaining Healthy Hygiene

Many things are uncertain right now, but taking control of your health can put YOU in charge. In this video, Wendy reminds you of how to do that, and provides a very easy tip to sterilize your toothbrush!

What Are Pockets?

Hi, I’m Wendy, one of the hygienists at Dr. Harvey Levy and Associates’ office. Our hygiene team wants you to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible. During the visit with your hygienist you may hear the term “pockets.” Did you ever wonder what we’re checking for? (Periodontal disease is an increasing health risk, which will not go away by itself. It requires professional treatment. Keep seeing your dentist every 6 months to maintain your optimal health.)

Thank you Megan for teaching your mom to create videos! At 9 years old we truly appreciate your help!

Dental Voice Interview with Dr. Levy

Updated HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices

Hipaa

Our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices (the document that was hanging in our former waiting room) has been updated. The new version is far easier to understand and can be found here.
