Niraj D. Patel, DMD, FAGD
Niraj Patel joined our practice in 2002. A graduate of Boston University School of Dental Medicine, he has a gentle demeanor and is excellent at helping patients choose between alternative treatment options. He enjoys cosmetic dentistry, root canals, fillings, crowns, and making the perfect denture. Dr. Patel is a very good cook and loves sports, especially basketball (March Madness) and football. Ellen Hailemelecot, MS, DDS
Ellen Hailemelecot (Dr. H) joined our practice in 2020. She’s a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore. Dr. H. focuses even more than the rest of us on treating the whole mouth: she wants to know what your goals are, and what you want to achieve. She has extensive experience in pediatric dentistry, and displays an outstanding chairside manner with children — even the ones who are scared of the dentist. Ellen loves dogs, hiking, swimming, and being outdoors.
Kevin Ross, DDS
Kevin Ross joined our practice in 2026. Dr. Ross is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Dentistry, with advanced training in microsurgical endodontics, implant dentistry, and surgical procedures. He places a strong emphasis on minimally invasive care and is committed to helping patients save their natural teeth whenever possible — and, when surgery is needed, providing it in a digitally guided, efficient way.
Outside the office, Dr. Ross enjoys playing golf and going on outdoor adventures with his family.

Harvey Levy, DMD, MAGD, FACD, FICD
Harvey Levy established our practice with the mission of extending dental care to underserved populations. His focus centers on aiding individuals grappling with anxiety or those with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges.
As an alumnus of Tufts Dental School and the University of Rochester, he started practicing in Frederick in 1980. He’s an excellent diagnostician who developed a special technique for pulling teeth quickly and with few fractures. Dr. Levy is an inspiring teacher and professor. He has taught thousands of dental professionals to care for patients with unique requirements, and loves to make sure that patients clearly understand their choices. His favorite aspects of dentistry are oral surgery, sedation dentistry in the office or hospital, and difficult cases in general.
